Round Glequin Flowers and Border Nails

Hello again,

This is just a quick post to show you this mani I did using some round glequin, which I reviewed one here.

I was inspired by Nail Loopy's Spring Flower mani, which I've been wanting to try since I first saw it on her blog. Instead of doing all nails floral, I just opted for an accent nail. But IMO her floral mani was way cooler, so I will give it a second try soon and do it like Nail Loopy did. ;)

Rainbow Roses

Hi everyone,

today's post is going to be a quick one. I just want to share with you the rainbow roses mani I did for a nail art contest on Instagram held by the super talented @christabellnails. If you are on IG and don't know her yet, please check her profile out! She's got some awesome nail art designs.

So here's my entry for the contest:

Polish used:
OPI - My Vampire is Buff (2 coats)

The roses were inspired by rainbow roses and hand painted with acrylic paint. For those who've never seen rainbow roses before, here's a pic:

They are gorgeous, aren't they? Some day I'll buy myself a bunch of these beautiful rainbow roses!

Thanks for reading and I wish you all a wonderful weekend!

Essence - Oh My Glitter!

Hi everyone,

sorry I've been MIA. I'm on holidays and haven't had much time to do my nails. I managed to keep my previous rainbow gradient mani for 2 weeks!!! I had some chipping on both pinkies and minor ones on the other fingers. Don't ask me how, because I honestly don't know what the secret is. My pedi is still holding on just fine.

Those who follow me on Instagram, Facebook and other social media, already saw that my index finger nail broke. So I trimmed down my nails to nubs. It'll take some time to get used to my nubbins, but nails grow! :)

I applied 2 coats of Essence Oh My Glitter! I was lacking inspiration so I opted for simple roses.

Have a nice week and thanks for reading!

Vintage Roses

Hello my dear readers,

I've already said good-bye to winter and I'm pretty much in the spring mood right now, even though it's still chilly outside.

Last time I showed you this beautiful mint green shade by Essence. So I translated my spring mood into my nails by adding some vintage roses to my accent nail.

I first applied white striping tape on my nail, then painted the roses with acrylic paint. Very easy and not time consuming at all!

[Review] Born Pretty Store Rhinestones - Part 2

Hello again everyone,

this is the 2nd part of the BornPrettyStore.com Rhinestones review. If you missed the 1st part, just click here.

This time I went for a little more bling! I used the elliptical shaped rhinestones to create colorful half flowers and used the round and flower shaped silver rhinestones to complete this mani.

I really like the matte version but I had to apply topcoat over it just to make sure this mani would last long enough. And it did: 5 long days! The Rhinestones stayed well in place and laid really flat on the nails.

These rhinestones can be purchased at BornPrettyStore.com and they offer FREE WORLDWIDE shipping. The 6 Shape Silver Rhinestones wheel retails for $3.84 while the 12 Color Elliptic Shaped Rhinestones wheel retails for $2.92. If you use my code AA7J61, you'll get 7% off of your entire purchase!

Polish used:
Illamasqua - Scorn

Lime Crime Milky Ways

Hi everyone!

Remember those gorgeous Lime Crime polishes I reviewed here? Hard to forget those beauties, right?!

So here's Milky Ways again, which was my favorite of the bunch:

I added some dried flowers and some Born Pretty Store half pearls to the accent nail. This polish is awesomely pretty and has such a unique color! Not to mention it stayed on my nails for almost a full week!!! You'll probably ask me how this is possible. Well, I must say that I don't do any of the daily household tasks (cleaning, cooking, washing, etc.), but even so, I've had polishes, not the holos or special effects of any kind, just the normal polish from well known brands which didn't last even a day!!!

A Year's Challenge - Week 19: Floral Mani

Hi everybody,

Today I have another mani of the Year's Challenge series. I was browsing the FatBoy website the other day and came across this very cool floral design:

First thing that came into my mind was: "Hey! That'd look really cool on my nails!!!" So here's how it looks on my nails:

Gosh! I really love this blue! Of all my blue polishes, Kiko 336 is, without any doubt, my favorite!

Polishes used:
Misa Heaven White
Kiko 336
Kiko 341
China Glaze Moody Blue
Orly Liquid Vinyl

Have a wonderful weekend!
