I'm not gonna make my own tutorial, I'm just gonna show how this method worked for! The picture below speaks for itself.

The glitter polish came off without any effort and in (almost) one piece! As you can see I had some tip wear, as this is not a normal base coat meant to keep your polish chip-free. But for a full 3 day of wear, I'm more than satisfied! I can finally wear my glitter polishes without the hassle of (foil) removal. Two thumbs up!!!

Butterflies

Hi everyone!

I hope you all enjoyed your weekend!

Remember my previous Rainbow Honey Pinkie Promise mani? It was pretty on its own but I wanted to give it an extra "oomph"! It was a great opportunity to try some of my other "untried" stuff. So I stamped butterfly wings on my nails using the NailzCraze image plate NC01.

After I had stamped the images on all my nails I realized it would have looked better if I had stamped them the other way (left image on left hand, right image on right hand). Oh well, too late!

The images stamped very well. For this mani I used the small butterflies because my nails are shorter now. I still missed some tiny bit of stamping on my tips, so I filled them in with black acrylic paint. Also worth mentioning: if you're going to use the larger images, you will need a jumbo stamper, the normal sized ones won't pick the entire image and you'll have missing spots when you transfer the image to your nails. 

Materials used:
Bootie Babe - Brink of Pink (1 coat)
Rainbow Honey - Pinkie Promise (1 thick coat)
Konad Special Stamping Polish - Black
Acrylic paint - Black and White

A Year's Challenge - Week 7: Valentine's Day mani

Hi everybody,

Here I am with another mani for the Year Challenge. My inspiration for this mani was the "Me To You" bear - Tatty Teddy.

My first idea for this challenge was to paint a sitting Tatty Teddy holding a rose or a heart. Since I'm not that good/skilled as a "painter, I figured it was going to be more than a challenge to paint what I had in mind.

So to make it simple, I just painted the bears head. I must say I did a crappy job in painting the bear. I doubt anyone would recognize it as the Me to You Tatty Teddy, but I gave it a try anyway. :-)

Materials used:

Ring finger: H&M Red Nail

Other fingers: Essence Got a Secret

Image Plate Bundle Monster BM 202 for the hearts

Konad Special stamping polish in red

Acrylic Paints

Leopard Skin

For this I used China Glaze GR8 from the OMG collection and stamped the leopard skin from my Chez Delaney Big Plate M. For that I used Konad Black Special Polish. The holo effect of the polish is not really visible in this picture. 

More Bundle Monster...

One more idea for the Bundle Monster Contest.

For the base I used Herôme (a Dutch brand) White or Whithout. The polish wasn't the easiest to use. It took forever to dry and I used 3 coats to get an even finish. The final result was nice, but I'm still in search of the perfect white polish.

The roses come from the Bundle Monster plate BM14 and the leaves are from plate BM05 (just the lower part of the leaf in the middle of the plate). The colors used for the roses were China Glaze Grape Pop and Konad Special Polish Psyche Pink. For the leaves I used Konad Special Polish Apple Green. The tip was made with China Glaze Go Go Pink.

Since I was looking for something more colorful, I added a blue rose to the design (don't know the polish's name anymore).

Since Bundle Monster Contest started,  I've been playing around with my plates and trying to get something worth entering the contest.

With spring in the air, I wanted to do something fresh. Not too bright, not too dark either. So I started with 2 coats of China Glaze Agent Lavender (sorry for the very dry cuticles, I'm trying to get rid of the problem).

For the design I used Bundle Monster image plate BM02, stamped with China Glaze Grape Pop, Konad Special Stamping polish Psyche Pink and China Glaze Millenium. For the tips I used Zoya Savita.
